CF Editorial Intern: Isabelle Rodolfo
CollegeFashionista: What school do you attend and what are you studying?
Isabelle Rodolfo: I go to Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, and I am taking up Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (with a track in Non-Fiction).
CF: What is your role as an editorial intern and what is your favorite part of your job?
IR: As an editorial intern, I, go through all the posts assigned to me everyday. These articles are written by students across the globe, and I love how I get a dose of diverse culture every single day that I edit - it’s a glimpse of the world through my Style Gurus. Aside from that, I really have fun discovering all these neat styling and beauty tips as I edit. I learn something new everyday!
CF: What are your favorite magazines?
IR: Of course Vogue is on top of the list, but I find Esquire and Vanity Fair well-edited and really good reads. I always ask my dad to buy me those when he goes abroad. In Manila, our top fashion magazine is Preview, and I like it because every issue is always packed! I love delving into the pages of Rogue as well because it has a lot of substance to go with the wit. It’s my alternative to reading the newspaper - I stay up to date on current events (politically/socially) because they make it interesting to read.
CF: If you could use any store as your personal closet, which store would you choose?
IR: Can it be Net-A-Porter? They have everything!
