CollegeFashionista: What school do you attend and what are you studying?

Maya Munoz: History major at the University of Maryland.

CF: What is your role as an editorial intern and what is your favorite part or your job?

MM: As an editorial intern I edit CollegeFashionista posts throughout the week and make sure they comply with our standards. I love editing a post and seeing the photo afterward. That way I can imagine what the outfit looks like and then see how the Fashionista/o actually looked. Editing posts is also a great way of staying on top of summer trends!

CF: What are your favorite magazines?

MM: I don’t read too many magazines, but I like to skim through Teen Vogue when I get a chance. I mostly read blogs for style inspiration, and love Mr. Newton, Man Repeller and Kendi Everyday.

CF: If you could choose any store as your personal closet, which store would you choose?

MM: If I could use any store as my personal closet, it would be a blend of Anthropologie, American Apparel and Urban Outfitters. I think that speaks to the different aspects of my style best.
