What Do I Wear? is a Tumblr that seems to have been tailor-made for the CollegeFashionista reader. It displays the coolest and funnest trends in a format that will make it hard for you to click away from the site.

Danielle Willis created this Tumblr because her love for creating collages led her to making an online kind of version. What Do I Wear? is mainly image based, but every once in a while, Danielle will give advice, tips or lists of trends and ideas to her loyal readers as well. She even thoughtfully answers specific questions sent in from them.

CollegeFashionista: Where are you from, and where did you go to college?  

What Do I Wear: I’m originally from a small town in the north of British Columbia, Canada. I’ve spent most of my life in British Columbia, specifically Kelowna and Vancouver. I’m currently living in Montreal, QC where I am continuing my studies as a third year English major.

 CF: What is your favorite fashion memory?

WDIW: I’m not sure that I have one in particular; I think every day allows for a great opportunity to become a fashion memory. I would say that the concept of challenging yourself daily to create new and interesting outfits and being able to reflect on them later is more meaningful to me then a particular event or time.

 CF: What is your favorite piece in your wardrobe right now? How are you wearing it?

WDIW: I have a few that I recently just purchased: Dr. Marten Pascal boots from Solestruck, a wool sequined skirt from Anthropologie and single strap heels from Zara.

The Dr. Marten boots have been the funnest piece to work into my wardrobe, as they have a sandy floral print on them with mustard and red hues. I’ve recently worn them with my vintage D.I.Y distressed Levi jeans, over-sized knit sweater and ivory collared button up.

CF: What inspired you to start your own Tumblr?

WDIW: I follow over 200 blogs and one of them happened to operate on a Tumblr account. I was previously a user of Blogspot and decided to transfer platforms. That was for Lavelaundry, the fashion editorial blog I also operate.

CF:How do you keep your Tumblr interesting? What are your tips for maintaining it?

WDIW: To be honest I’m not sure if there is one true way to always keep things interesting for your viewers. I post images and content that I find intriguing or interesting – most of it reflects trends that I’m currently challenging myself or looking to try out in the near future. So far, it ends up working.
